Citations, web search, and SIS/LMS integrations!
The AI on Flint can now provide in-line citations and search the web for the most up-to-date info! Plus, class rosters can now be imported from your school’s SIS or LMS.
We’re excited to announce a few major upgrades to Flint! The AI on Flint is now much more accurate and provides unparalleled transparency into where it’s pulling information from.
Plus, we’ve launched support for importing class rosters from popular systems like Veracross, Blackbaud, Canvas, and more.
1. In-line citations and web search

All AI tutors on Flint can now cite sources from uploaded content or from sources that it searches for and finds from the web!
Hovering on the citation shows you exactly what information the AI is pulling from — whether it be from a provided source (e.g. a primary source uploaded by the teacher) or a source that the AI found on the web (e.g. a news article about a recent event).
2. SIS and LMS integrations for rostering

Flint now supports integrations (via Edlink) with the following SIS and LMS systems:
SIS
Veracross
Blackbaud
OneRoster
Powerschool
LMS
Canvas
Schoology
Blackboard
Google
Microsoft
Moodle
By importing class rosters, school admins can dramatically reduce the work needed for teachers to use Flint with their students, as their classes will be automatically set up for them. View the step-by-step guide here.
