How much does Flint cost? Is it based on the number of students?
Flint is free for up to 80 users (users can be students, teachers, or administrators). Paid plans cover access for a greater number of users. You can find more details on our pricing page.
Paid plans for Flint can purchased on an annual or a month-to-month basis. To get a quote for your school, email sales@flintk12.com.
Can we pay for Flint using Title IV funding?
Flint is aligned with Title IV objectives. In accordance with 20 U.S. Code § 7117, Flint can fall under: 20 U.S. Code § 7117 (a)(3)(C) — programming and activities to improve instruction and student engagement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, including computer science; 20 U.S. Code § 7117 (a)(3)(F) — foreign language instruction; and 20 U.S. Code § 7117 (a)(3)(J) — other activities and programs to support student access to, and success in, a variety of well-rounded education experiences.

Can I adjust the number of students partway through the subscription?
Yes, we’re happy to prorate subscriptions to reflect an increase or decrease in the number of students that you would like to provide access to Flint to.
What onboarding and training resources does Flint offer?
Flint licenses include unlimited professional development (PD) sessions for faculty and staff. Teachers have the option to book 1-1 onboarding calls.
Additionally, we have PD materials (printouts, decks, and video tutorials) and 24/7 live chat support.
Does Flint offer PD for faculty? How many PD sessions can we schedule, and is there an extra cost?
Yes! All Flint PD materials are publicly available for free, which your technology team can use to train teachers on using Flint.
All paid licenses to Flint also include on-demand, specialized PD at no additional cost with someone from our team. We’ve done everything from school-wide PD for > 300 teachers, to division-specific trainings, and we would be happy to chat about how to best roll out Flint to your school.
What customer service does Flint include? Is there 24/7 support?
Flint currently has live chat support from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM U.S. Eastern Time. We are working to expand our customer support hours in the future.
