MLA citations, IB rubrics, and smarter AI!
Easily cite AI in MLA, Chicago, or APA. Plus, Flint now generates IB rubrics and is significantly better at following teacher-provided instructions.

1. MLA, APA, and Chicago citations
Flint now has built-in citations in MLA, APA, and Chicago! Simply hover over a message from the AI, click the quotations, and get a pop-up with properly formatted citations that can be copied and pasted.

2. IB rubrics
We’ve added IB to the grade level selector in Flint! This means that teachers can select from PYP, MYP, or DP years to set the difficulty level of an activity. Plus, Flint will automatically generate a corresponding IB rubric based on the year selected.

3. Smarter, more predictable AI
Flint now does a significantly better job of sticking to the helpfulness level and rules for a given activity. This is largely because we’ve switched the AI model powering Flint from OpenAI’s GPT-4o to Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet.
