Lesson plans, interactive content and worksheets in seconds
A teacher asks Sparky for a lesson plan, a worksheet with practice questions or interactive content for pupils (a historical role-play, a debate with Sparky, speaking practice in a modern foreign language, or a tutor that walks pupils through a hard topic step by step), then edits the draft or asks Sparky to change it. Documents export to Word or Google Docs. Teachers can upload a scheme of work or their own resources for Sparky to build from, copy activities colleagues have already made, or use the teacher tools for homework, quizzes and rubrics. Homework that keeps pupils learning after the bell
Teachers set an activity with a deadline, and pupils work through it at home with Sparky, which asks guiding questions instead of handing over answers. Pupils can also start their own chats with Sparky to revise between lessons. Sparky marks each submission against the teacher's rubric and the curriculum standards the class follows, and the teacher can change any mark. Subject help when the teacher isn't a specialist
When a cover supervisor takes a lesson, or a teacher is working outside their own subject, pupils still get help with the subject itself. The subject lead sets up the activity once, with the class's objectives and needs, and Sparky works through it with each pupil one to one. Sparky checks maths with a calculator, runs code, and cites its sources when it searches the web. Use your trust's own results to pick the subjects where attainment is lower than you'd like. Flint gives pupils in those subjects more practice, with feedback aligned to your curriculum, and shows your central team which schools are taking part.
Build activities once and share them with every school
A subject lead or a strong department builds activities on the topics pupils find hardest, then publishes them to a library every school in the trust can see. Extra practice aimed at what pupils got wrong
Pupils work through the activities in lessons and at home, and Sparky asks questions that make them do the thinking. After each activity, the teacher sees the areas where the class needs to improve, and the class's outcomes analytics show which curriculum standards pupils have met. Sparky checks every pupil message for self-harm, violence, harassment, hate, sexual content, illicit content and pupils treating the AI as a friend. Schools can add up to 20 categories of their own. UK schools use a separate UK service at uk.flintk12.com. Pupil data is stored in London, and conversations with the AI run in the EU. Pupil work is never used to train AI models, and our sub-processor list names every provider.
