Grading rubrics
Build rubrics with your own categories and levels. Sparky grades against them, and you can override any grade.
Build the rubric in the activity's Grading panel: your grades across the top, your categories down the side, and a description of what each grade looks like in each category. With auto-grading on, Sparky grades every submitted session against it.
Your grades and categories
Name the grades, give each a percentage, add as many categories as you need, and drag them into order.
Override any grade
Change the overall grade or a single category's grade on any session. Your change replaces Sparky's and is time-stamped.

How the overall grade works
It is the average of the category scores, matched to the nearest grade on your scale.
Add your own written feedback to any session, beside Sparky's analysis.
Sparky's analysis is a first draft of feedback, not the last word. On any submitted session, add your own comments for each rubric category and an overall note, and they appear beside Sparky's strengths and areas of improvement.
Feedback by category
Write a comment against each rubric category, plus additional feedback for the session as a whole.
Without a rubric too
Sessions in ungraded activities have a teacher feedback card.

Turn the gaps in a session into the next activity, with the request already written for you.
Every analysis ends with a follow-up, and the follow-up has a button. Press it and the Activity Builder opens in the same class with the request already written, and with the original activity, its analysis, and the session attached for Sparky to build from.
For one student or the classFor one pupil or the class
Start from a single session's analysis or from the analysis of the whole activity.
Built from what happened
Sparky works from the source activity and its analysis, so the next activity targets the gaps.
Aware of your standards
When standards are tagged, it reinforces the ones not yet met and moves on where they are.
Yours to edit
The draft opens in the builder like any other activity, for you to adjust before assigning.

Bring in your standards and see which are covered, assessed, and met, with Bloom's levels and soft skills across activities.
Bring in your standards by uploading the documents they live in, adding them by hand, or starting from a preset such as AP, Common Core, NGSS, or the National Curriculum in England. Sparky tags activities with the standards they cover, and Analytics shows how far each one has got.
