Easily cite AI in MLA, Chicago, or APA. Plus, Flint now generates IB rubrics and is significantly better at following teacher-provided instructions.
We’re excited to announce three updates to Flint! Students can now easily cite Flint, and teachers can rest assured that the AI will do a much better job of following their instructions.

Flint now has built-in citations in MLA, APA, and Chicago! Simply hover over a message from the AI, click the quotations, and get a pop-up with properly formatted citations that can be copied and pasted.

We’ve added IB to the grade level selector in Flint! This means that teachers can select from PYP, MYP, or DP years to set the difficulty level of an activity. Plus, Flint will automatically generate a corresponding IB rubric based on the year selected.

Flint now does a significantly better job of sticking to the helpfulness level and rules for a given activity. This is largely because we’ve switched the AI model powering Flint from OpenAI’s GPT-4o to Anthropic’s Claude 3.5 Sonnet.
