AI presentation generator
Tell Sparky the topic and grade in one line. Sparky makes slides you can present in class, open in Google Slides or download as a PowerPoint file.

How the presentation generator works
Ask for slides in one line
Type the topic and grade, such as "causes of World War I slides for 10th grade". Give a number of slides if you have one, or Sparky picks 6 to 12. Attach your notes to have the deck follow them.
Check the deck beside the chat
The deck opens in a panel next to the chat. Step through it, press the palette button to try another theme, and ask for changes in plain words, like "add speaker notes" or "add a slide on alliances".
Present it or take it with you
Press Present to show the deck full screen in class. Move with the arrow keys or a click. Open it in Google Slides, or download a PowerPoint file.
What you can put on a slide
Six slide layouts
A title slide, section headers, bullet slides, slides with a picture, a full-screen slide for one word or question, and a closing slide.
Pictures where they help
Sparky draws a picture for slides that show a scene or explain a process, and the pictures come with the PowerPoint download.
Tables
Comparisons, timelines and data go in a small table, and the table stays a real table in the PowerPoint file.
Speaker notes
Ask for notes and Sparky writes talking points and a question for each slide. They come with the PowerPoint download, under each slide.
Your school's colors
Pick one of six themes, or ask for your school colors. Sparky can also color one slide, like "make slide 4 sky blue".
Your own material
Attach a PDF, a Word file, an old PowerPoint or a link, or bring one in from Google Drive or OneDrive.
Ways teachers use it
Unit openers
A short deck to start a unit: the big question, the key terms and what students will be able to do by the end.
Vocabulary
One word per slide in large type with a short definition under it, for a warm-up or a quick check.
Your notes as slides
Attach the notes you already teach from, and Sparky turns them into slides that follow them.
Test review
A slide or two for each topic on the test, with a question slide after each one to check understanding.

Frequently asked questions
Is the presentation generator free?
Yes, it's free for teachers.
Can it make a PowerPoint or Google Slides?
Yes. Every deck downloads as a PowerPoint (.pptx) file with its pictures and speaker notes, in the theme you picked. Press Open in Google Slides instead to put a copy of the slides in your Google Drive.
Can it write speaker notes?
Yes, when you ask. Say "add speaker notes to the slides" and Sparky writes talking points and a question to ask for each slide. The notes are in PowerPoint's speaker notes when you download the deck. The slide panel in Flint doesn't show them.
Does it add pictures?
Yes. Sparky draws a picture for slides where one helps, such as a scene or a process, and leaves title and summary slides without one. AI pictures can get details wrong, like the borders on a map, so check them before class. Ask Sparky to take off any picture you don't want.
Can I change the theme?
Yes. Press the palette button under the slides and pick one of six themes: Professional, Warm, Cool, Bold, Nature or Flint. You can also ask Sparky for your school colors, or for one slide in a different color.
Can I make slides from my own notes or an old deck?
Yes. Attach your notes, a PDF, a Word file, an old PowerPoint or a link, or bring a file in from Google Drive or OneDrive. Sparky builds the deck from what you attach and keeps any text you ask it to use word for word.
Can I edit the slides?
Ask Sparky in the chat, such as "add a slide on the Treaty of Versailles" or "shorten slide 3". Each change makes a new version and keeps the old one. To edit by hand, download the PowerPoint file or open it in Google Slides; changes you make there don't come back to Flint.
