Say who the day is for
Type one line, such as "PD day for our K-8 teachers in January". Attach your school goals or a staff survey if you have them.
Answer Sparky's questions

Is the PD day planner free?
Yes. It's free for teachers, coaches and school leaders.
What do teachers do on a professional development day?
They learn a practice, try it with colleagues and plan how to use it in their own classrooms. Sparky's plans keep presentations short and give most of the day to practice, planning time and feedback, so teachers leave with something they can use the next week.
Can it plan for teachers with different experience?
Yes. Tell Sparky the room is mixed and it plans breakout tracks for newer, some-experience and experienced teachers, each run twice so every teacher attends two.
Can it make slides for the day?
Yes. Once the plan is ready, ask for slides, such as "Make slides for the morning sessions", and Sparky makes a deck from the plan with presenter notes. You can also ask for a participant handout.
Can I attach our school goals or survey results?
Yes. Attach a PDF, a Word file or a spreadsheet, such as your school improvement goals or a staff survey, and Sparky plans the day around them.
Where can teachers find free professional development?
Flint's AI literacy for teachers course is free and comes with a certificate. The professional development page has free guides and presentations for training staff on Flint.
Can I share the plan with the other facilitators?
